Viral Growth & The Non-Profit

• 2005: A powerful photograph of the snow-covered headstones at Arlington adorned with Worcester's red-ribboned wreaths goes viral on the internet. Overnight, thousands of Americans reach out wanting to replicate the tribute at their own local and national cemeteries.
• 2007: In response to overwhelming national demand, the Worcester family, alongside veterans and trucking groups, officially forms the 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Wreaths Across America (https://www.wreathsacrossamerica.org/). Karen Worcester takes on the role of Executive Director.
